Brutalist Hong Kong 2

Illustrator
Illustration
The second series of illustrations created as a discovery of several iconic yet controversial modernist architectural pieces in Hong Kong, built between 1960s and early 2000s. The illustrations epitomize the duality of these buildings, their ugliness and their beauty, capturing the pioneering and provocative spirit.  In comparison with architecture built nowadays which are seemingly far less rule-challenging and condescended to absolute efficiency, there should definitely be more awareness and appreciation given on these rare masterpieces in the ever-changing city.
